Dr. Ben Coffey
Ben has two doctoral degrees—one doctoral degree in leadership (Ed.D.) and one real-world degree in being Poor, Hungry, and Driven (Ph.D.) (insert audience laugh here!)
As a serial entrepreneur, Ben has been building businesses and selling since he was a kid.
As an academic, he’s studied leadership and how to train others. With degrees in English, Education, and Leadership, he’s learned the ropes of getting knowledge into others’ heads and making real, substantive change.
He has served his community as a member of the Board of Directors of a local civic group, including stepping up as an Interim Director in a time of transition.
Coffey is especially passionate about mentoring and training the next generation. Coffey has served as an Associate Vice President and Dean of Students at McPherson College before leaving to start his own company.
Ben also coaches small business professionals wanting to grow their business or overcome a variety of hurdles in “Ben’s Business Bootcamp” sessions.

Mike
Mike is a natural leader and an expert in G.S.D: Getting Stuff Done. When a challenge presents itself, especially those surrounding technology and AI, Mike is perhaps the most skilled manager/operator in the Midwest.
Mike’s background involves sales, technology, pastoral work, and law enforcement. Mike served as Operations Manager for CoffeyHouse Ventures before his promotion as Store Manager of The Ark and COO of CoffeyHouse Ventures.
Mike serves as Ben’s right-hand man in executing the vision and direction of the reach of CHV’s programs and operations.

Jermae
Jermae turns Ben’s daily to-do list into the DONE list. Each of her days looks different, depending on what we are working on that day. Jermae turns Ben’s cluttered ideas into completed tasks.
Jermae is also responsible for the social media content on all of our social media accounts and manages a combined social media reach of over 100,000 unique accounts each month. She has helped our pages become monetized and become powerful tools of communication.
Sales Floor Manager; Merchandiser
Jeannie
Jeannie is the definition of “cross-training.” She helps run the cash registers, keeps the store clean, and, most importantly, keeps the store’s displays and merchandise well presented.
Sales presentation matters, and there is no one more adept in driving sales through visual merchandising than Jeannie.

Collin has a hand in completing just about every task The Ark takes on! Between pricing, customer service, and representing the voice of the young, Collin is an important team member.

Cindy is who we put in charge of our important initiatives. Right now, she’s focused on growing the HWY 56 Sales Scramble, scheduled for its 3rd year in the Spring of 2027.
